Today, in Cairo, the Kingdom of Morocco turned into commemorated in recognition of its efforts to help and effectively promote cooperation between the Arab League and the European Union in combating the illicit trafficking and proliferation of small hands and light weapons within the member states of the League.
The reputation, which also protected the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, happened on the sidelines of the concluding meeting of the second phase of the cooperation undertaking among the Arab League and the European Union on “Combating Illicit Trafficking and Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons inside the Member States of the Arab League.”
This honor became presented to Morocco in appreciation of its efforts to guide this cooperation, mainly for hosting the preliminary activities and programs applied all through the second segment of the cooperation undertaking among the 2 sides on “Combating Illicit Trafficking and Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons within the Member States of the Arab League.” These efforts included website hosting the first regional workshop in 2022 in Tangier and organizing countrywide education classes in the capital, Rabat.
