Several foreign clubs, including teams from the French league and Gulf leagues, have expressed interest in Mamadou Lamine Camara, the Senegalese player from Renaissance Berkane, with Montpellier being the latest club to show interest.
According to sources close to the matter, Renaissance Berkane’s management has set its financial conditions for releasing Camara during the current summer transfer window. The club has demanded an offer of no less than 1.5 billion Moroccan dirhams to begin negotiations, insisting that the full amount be paid upon signing, avoiding payment installments.
The same sources indicated that Montpellier made an offer through intermediaries for 1.5 billion dirhams, but the French club’s intention to pay in two installments halted negotiations on the deal.
