A framework partnership and cooperation agreement was signed today, Thursday, between the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Beni Mellal-Khenifra and the Maabar Center for Studies in History, Heritage, Culture, and Development at the academy’s headquarters.
This agreement aims to diversify educational approaches and embrace the regional heritage, cultural, and developmental components with their spatial and identity-specific characteristics. It seeks to bring regional culture and heritage closer to students, fostering a sense of belonging through an educational and cultural approach that connects learners with local, regional, and national identity and cultural heritage.
The planned activities under the agreement include organizing extracurricular activities in history and heritage, conducting field trips to explore the area’s tangible and intangible heritage, and connecting educational content with practical experiences. Additionally, the agreement involves organizing workshops, study days, and scientific sessions, as well as publishing a regional cultural heritage guide for educational purposes.
This agreement was signed by Mustapha Slifani, Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training for Beni Mellal-Khenifra, and Souad Belhussein, Director of the Maabar Center for Studies in History, Heritage, Culture, and Development.
