Participants inside the annual meeting of the OECD Business Integrity Network for the Middle East and North Africa, held in Rabat on Tuesday and Wednesday, called for the identity and understanding of corruption risks and the implementation of vital measures to prevent it within the private area.
At the conclusion of the assembly on Wednesday, the a hundred and forty experts and officers representing around thirty countries and seventy three establishments working inside the fields of integrity and transparency emphasised the importance of close cooperation between the public and private sectors in preventing corruption. They also highlighted the bad effect of corruption on development, increase, and stability in countries.
The consultation concluded with the presentation of the new strategic plan for the “MOBIN” network, which pursuits to construct on the community’s achievements in combating corruption. The plan explores destiny cooperation possibilities among member countries, in addition to new investment avenues to ensure the network’s sustainability.
