Tens of thousands of Jordanians participated in the National Day of Solidarity with Gaza, denouncing the genocide confronted by way of the people inside the besieged Gaza Strip, that is subjected to warfare, starvation, and direct aid from the US.
The event featured a symbolic funeral for the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), martyr Ismail Haniyeh, who become assassinated by way of the Israeli profession forces even as he become in Tehran, Iran, ultimate Wednesday.
The event became held in reaction to a name made by Haniyeh a few days before his assassination, urging human beings global to march on August 3rd in harmony with Gaza.

During the march, the General Supervisor of the Muslim Brotherhood, Engineer Murad Adaila, spoke about martyr Ismail Haniyeh, also known as Abu al-Abed, recalling his early days in the dawah and jihad movement. Adaila recounted Haniyeh’s exile in Marj al-Zohour and his tenure as Prime Minister, during which he gained widespread support.
Adaila noted that after several years as Prime Minister, Haniyeh relinquished his position to unite his people. He emphasized that today, as we bid him farewell, Muslims around the world have performed absentee prayers for the martyr.
Adaila added that tens of thousands of Jordanians turned out to voice their support for the resistance, affirming that Jordan will not abandon Palestine or its resistance.
In his message to the Jordanian people, the General Supervisor praised their unwavering support for the Palestinian people. He asserted that just as the blood of martyrs led to the uprising of Al-Aqsa, the blood of Abu al-Abed Haniyeh will intensify the struggle and lead to the defeat of the Zionist enemy.
The participants chanted slogans such as:
- No embassy for the entity… on your land, O Amman
- O Jordanian government… withdrawing the ambassador is not enough
- Our demand is much greater… we want to cancel the agreement
- Wadi Araba, gas, and water
- From Ramtha to Aqaba… Wadi Araba must fall
- We want to hold the traders accountable… and stop the bridge of shame
